Alcohol taxation proposals
Well I am finally completely and utterly convinced the UK Government is totally corrupt, completely naive and inept and the non voted in, so called "Prime Minister" Gordon Browns Government are imbeciles of the highest order!
I cannot believe how stupid the UK governments alcohol taxation proposals I just saw on the TV are!
The proposals on taxation on alcohol, supposedly to kerb binge and under age drinking are a complete and utter farce. Do the UK government not remember America and the prohibition laws they imposed that backfired so badly?
Do the imbeciles that supposedly represent the voting public in The House of Commons not realise they will merely create a larger black market of cheaper and possibly dodgy unregulated perhaps even dangerous alcoholic beverages?
The proposed taxation on alcohol planned by the present UK Labour Government are merely a way to try and make more money from taxes IMHO and nothing more than a sham.
This will not solve any binge drinking problems nor help kerb under age drinking as it will merely drive people to find cheaper alternatives in the main and those that do pay the legal price in the shops and supermarkets are being penalised by a Government that to my mind are adding a tax to alcohol telling us one thing whilst reality is it is just a way for them to squeeze the general public out of even more money than they already do.
Britain should be very proud of their Government and the Prime Minsiter everyone voted in - LOL what a joke. Britian spout off about democracy to others and yet did anyone vote Gordon Brown in to be Pime Minister?
No not one person did, yet we are stuck with Gordon Brown and his flycatcher jaw munching antics and now we have the same Government thinking they know better than the history that America's prohibition Laws show didn't work and just as the prohibition backfired IMHO the taxation proposals by the wonderful UK Government will backfire on them in a similar way!
The UK GovernmentGovernment what a joke they couldn't organise a Prayer meeting in a Nunnery! Or should that be a **** up in a Brewery? Turning us in to a laughing stock if you ask me.
