The remote brake system, just because its not good for a parent *so they say, who would like wireless breaks on there bmx bikes so the wires dont all get tangled? put the control on the handle bar, use a dynamo and a remote induction coil and it wont require batteries so for safety it will keep working as a brake.

If i was investing i would have bought both of them, added them to each other, and sold them in the millions around the globe.

sometimes the dragons think too directly and dont really think hmmmz what else can it do or be used for. thats the problem with investors, but the people going in should have thought of that first themselves.

Your right there Blackbeard I thought the same (not about the bikes) but they were missing something good and I think she have been more willing to help her it was an excellent idea and she was a young entrepreneur who needed some help and some encouragement.

I agree to, i think they were a great idea, had load's of use's to them !, i thought they would of been a hit in Gym's etc, what with all the equipment they use, bikes,rowing machines,air steppers and all that, but the original idea for rowing to stop blistering is great, i think Duncan should give her a call, and put them throughout his Gym's to see what his customer's think of it

I missed last night's series of the den, i was far away in another land.... (no literally), i was trying to work out figures, and was watching Castaway with Tom Hanks, and ended up crying like a big baby ! , i will wait to watch the repeat on Sunday evening of the den, as watching it on here isn't the same.

Apologies for my lack of posting on the Den like you Marmite I missed last weeks episode and wasn't fortunate enough to catch in on the Sunday.

Trying their look for a second time is Samantha who last year invented a fake tv to fool burglars but after a bad pitch left with nothing this time she is back hoping for £10,000 for a 10% stake in her company unfortunately for her she has once again made a right mess of her presentation as her curtians are not working they ae supposed to pull back during the day time and close them at night once again in the hope of deterring burglars.
Her product isnt going down that well with the dragons and again they think she is all over the place naturally all the dragons were out.

20% for 60,000 wanted by David to invest in him and his piano playing which was excellant but the dragons failed to see what he was doing and so were out.

Ronan wanted £8,500 for a 10% stake in his his shoe shine company his booths offered a place for customers to get their shoe shined while reading the newspaper or getting their phone charged while James had his shoes shined Ronan recieved a grilling from Debra and failed to answer her questions and was clearly exasperated ooh thats not good Duncan happens to know a man that works at Heathrow doing ecatly the same job and struggles to make a living anfd therefor Duncan is wondering how he has come up with his figures and made himself look rather stupid with Peter when he stated his shoe shiner friend made a fortune doing it but couldn't actually give a figurwe of his partners income, James has decided to make an offer of £108,000 for 40% but Ronan was unwilling to give that amount away and so has walked away with nothing.

The mini garden greenhouse was a bit of a joke because what he was showing was something I have seen on many occasion so how it was any different I dont know and the dragons were less than impressed and so were all out.

A football themed toaster hmm a piece of toast with the emblem of your football team on it lol my daughter has a print of iggle piggle that you can press on your toast and his face appears and I have to say its rubbish no surprise they were all out.

Peter and Ian wanted £120,000 for 15% of their grill streaming company which collected fat from sausages and the likes instead of dripping into your grill pan or onto your charcoals causing flare ups their product even held under Debra's testing though their product went down well with the dragons the fact that they couldn't account for how they would be spending the money invested left the dragons rather confused and their business projections didnt seem to add up with James Khan and I think that was what put the dragons off and they left with nothing.

Nicky who had created a kitchen ware range was a bit of a joke as her products looked just like the one's that are all ready available I realise she was trying to appeal towards getting childrwen in the kitchen but I have some smiley face cups and bowls for example that came from a pound shop and are no different so a bad product I think.

Jason wanted 150,000 for 5% of equaty for his company his products were alright they all protected modern devices from damaged eg laptops and mobiles it looks rather good however I'm guessing it would be expensive as its technology is expensive in itself and the fact he wanted so much for so little was not going down all that well, although Peter is willing to offer half the money in return for 20% because of his personal expertise and so now need the other half from Theo or Debra and because he himself sells millions of cases is also willing to offer half for 20% while Debra only wants 15% of the business for half the money.
Jason now has to decide who he will go with or negotiate with Peter and Theo but he has decide to give away 40% to Peter and Theo.

*First in to the den, for the second time .. is Samantha Gore, and her crime prevention technique.
Thirty second's into her pitch, and Duncan's stress level's are already climbing LOL, and i cannot believe that Samantha, has copied Deb's dress code ! come on chic, be a bit more original....

And here we go with the fishing gut, and and roller system....

I would imagine to a burglar looking in on the house from outside, with curtain's being pulled back that slowly, they would either think the occupant is 500 year's old, has very short arm's, or is really disabled... thus making the occupant a superb and easy target.

Personally myself, i would get a ten stone rottweiler, and pay some one to feed it when i was away or whatever, but train it to attack intruder's etc.....

PMSL, she is now explaining how "simple" the device is , while Theo eye's dart wildly in his head trying to scan for a reason for this device's being ! lol ...Peter, is wincing, while Jame's scratch's his head, totally bemused, Deb's is feeling for her , as the device start's to play up and wont work properly, god i'm glad it isnt me .....

Deb's is correct again on the slow creaking movement of the curtain's, it just to big an avertisement to get burgled. and i would prefer the fast flying movement of a hefty rottweiler even tho they petrify me, i would invest in one of them instead.

*Patrick the mussel man....


A pitch about mussel farming....

Duncan is shocked about the "party pack " mussels, and i am wretching at the thought of it lol..

Theo is asking question's while Duncan rub's his brow with exasperation on the mussel saga.

Deb's turn with the questioning now,but Patrick isn't quite adding up here,he doesn't know how sustainable his own product is, and he has really riled Deb's up, by not even understanding his own environmental impact on his own production. He's flaky and hollow, just like a crab's claw, silly Pat.....Number's and the murray firth yik yak, are not amusing Deb's espech as she is up to spec on the over fishing industry... we are trying to sustain our rock pools and crustaceous friend's for learning future generation's Pat my boy ! Deb's is well mussled off with Pat's flakiness in his research and she is OOOT ! lol ...

James, suggest's that he get's professional advice, and he is also OOOT !, Duncan is doing the Marilyn Monroe "read my lip's" part.... and as the Ddraig say's ...hem OOOOT, lol.

Theo and Peter's turn , and sadly they are both out on this one... so nothing for mussel man Pat on this trip into the Den... yay for our bearded friend's ( the mussels i'm talking about )!

*The wine man....

Wine filled plastic cup's with a peel off lid, a bit like a tub of coleslaw or a yogurt pot.
The thing's you get on flight meal's, the pot's of sealed orange juice !
The poor guy is shakin like a leaf, he is very nervous of the Dragon's atm....and he want's 250k for a 20 cut of his company, but it didnt go down to well so to speak.

*Grill stream

I dont think i can handle the sausage grill..................
Come on guy's... we have been there and done that, George forman was there yonks ago..
I done care which way the fat is dripping- as long as it aint dripping my way.
And everyone know's that barbequed food contain's serious carcinogens that cause cancer.

I never eat the junk, your teeth end up black, and it look's like you have been munching spud's off the bonfire..

To cook that food correctly , it must be done over "white hot " coal's , where then any falling fat's will evaporate in a puff... just like the majik dragon .


*Mr shoe shine...spit and polish

Well it's an ok-ish idea, but had a few muddy bit's about it..

It was a bit of a kiosk in size, and for it's actual size it could of had really important element's added to it, like a shaving point or cut throat barber..hehe...something that really put's the "quirk" in it.. it could of had a headset playing the local news or tunes, etc...to drown out the sound of the crowd around you, for that luxurious few minutes "on your own " kinda thing.

Well this guy is dodging his figures, and wont give Peter the answer, how infuriating... James is in making the offer, but he has withdrawn his offer..
There were no aftershaves or smellies for the men to splash on and freshen up ! , if it were me, i would offer them a clean change of socks and a foot massage on the job, for an extra £2.50, because i know i can pick up good quality sock's for 20p a pair in bulk.

So for a £5, they would get a polish, massage and clean sockies :P, and a fresh experience.. AND most importantly, most of my staff that i would choose for the job, would be "foot fetish " peeps, as i know they would love their job, make the customer's beam and i would defo have returning customer's, and build a good clientele.

And for the ladie's i would offer them, nice perfume's & a hair straightener's for them to use.., with their polish & massage for a £5...

The thing is, polishing just someone's shoe's for a living, is a pretty low grade job these day's, so you would definately need the right staff to begin with, to be commited to this kind of work.
After a week in a busy booth, and an aching back, they would soon be looking for another job !, so the staff is the main ingredient needed in this venture.

James Caan , would of defo invested in me, if i had that item to pitch !!

MOTOR BIKE helmuts,and every single safety helmut that is out there , as an inner lining etc..shin pads, that are soft and flexible, yet when slogged at 100mph they harden to protect you !! go on Jasey boy...well done what an awesome product..and please will you send me a lump of it to play with, i would really treasure it ..
