Volume five- Redemption, Chapter One Orientation

Well finally its back season 4 of Heroes many, me included have been waiting to find out what happens with Syler and Nathan and whether Matt will be able to keep Syler at bay?

Oooh it would seem like the episode is starting in Ireland burying a man with a new character who can move the earth the scene ends to skip to Claire arriving at college meeting her new room mate who seems to know her exact plan of life while Claire is muddling through not knowing what exactly she wants/needs to do.

Over in Japan Hiro and Ando are venturing into a new business plan Dial a hero which is meeting some opposition by Hiro sister who thinks they are both idiots, while in New York Peter is still working as a paramedic but upon heading into traffic he fly’s his way towards a women he hopes to help, he manages to save three people but isn’t happy with his speed of responding and decides to do another double shift.

Back to Claire who is faced with facing a algebra equation and seems dumbfounded at the answer and then makes herself stand out more than she intended by making some odd noises as she has a flash back to be shot with dart.

Hiro and Ando’s first task is less than exciting as they are asked to save a cat who is stranded high up though it could have all gone wrong if Hiro hadn’t of frozen time to stop him from falling after the cat attacked him, upon time unfreezing Ando finds that Hiro is frozen still with his eyes shut like time is still shut still.

Angela and Bennet seem to be having different opinions when it comes to Syler/Nathan Bennet believes Claire is more important but as he ends the phone call and gets in his car it suddenly becomes flooded like submerged under water and he struggles to escape when he does he comes face to face with Danko who reveals Tracy has paid a little visit by Tracy Strouse.
Bennet tells Danko he has started over and no longer cares about hunting people with special powers while Danko is continuing whether he is employed by the government or not.

Claire meets a new girl at college who has heard about the whole cheerleader thing having her head sawed off and I think realises that her past isn’t so easily forgotten.

Angela heads over to a sushi bar to meet her son Nathan/Syler who questions what exactly she has done to him, he cannot remember if he likes sushi or not and explains that he feels like his life is not really his life but Angela brushes it off as getting old and then tries to dampen his ideas with washing it away with a new car and the fact that he is just having a midlife crisis.
She quickly calls Matt asking him to fix Nathan because she believes Syler is emerging but he isn’t interested stating that he has finishes with all that and it is her problem from now on.

Nathan alone tries moving objects and shocks himself when he produces electric between his hands.


Bennet visits Claire and is proud when Claire says she is proud to be a Bennet and of talking about him but he warns her to be careful.

Elsewhere Tracy is walking around at a circus by the name of Lydia with more than a few tattoos which seem to appear by magic her latest being Danko and then disappears but not before the Irish man see’s it and states he wants the man dead and then becoming angry he injects the tattooist with ink and as it travels through his body and disappears he states he wont ask again, the tattooist man leaves.

Bennet then meets with Tracey who reveals that she felt it when she shattered into pieces of ice but she remains worried about Danko more than anything but Bennet thinks they can deal with him.

Danko then meets with Bennet and states he will kill Tracey though Bennet offers him a deal he refuses to take it and is determined he will kill her, Danko arrives home to face Tracey but he is unaware he has had his mind wiped and then she hears noises upon entering she see’s a new face who has powers slashing Danko to death she freezes his arm but he escapes in super fast motion.

Meanwhile Claire is parting with her new friend Gretchen and Ando is wheeling Hiro around who eventually wakes with his nose bleeding and reveals to Ando that he is dieing and he doesn’t why except that he cannot change the past and then he suddenly disappears after being frozen for a second.
Finding himself at the carnival where he was first told he would be a hero which is where Tracy and the Irish man are also who knows about Hiro and thinks that he can fix the past for him and the old man he is with.

Claire arrives back from the party to find her new roommate is dead from falling out of the apartment floor, while Nathan seems agitated and Matt finds that his son is missing and then finds Syler is holding him hostage, Syler wants his body back and states that when Matt did what he did Syler managed to hold onto a piece of his mind.

Bennet is alone and having burnt his micro meal to death he rings his wife Sandra but stays silent and then receives a call from Tracey who is sat with the dead body of Danko and calls Bennet over.

Hiro is at the fair and meets a younger version of himself and struggles with the decision whether or not to stop him from having his fortune told and then meets Samuel(the Irish guy) who states they will be great friends.

Claire is talking to the police and is being questioned about he friends state of mind but is confused when the she is handed a suicide note and knows full well that she wouldn’t have committed suicide.

Ando is left trying to explain to Hir’s sister that he is sure her brother is near by but isn’t sure himself where he is, meanwhile Hiro see’s Samuel’s power and he tries to persuade Hiro that he must change time and even though he doesn’t want to Samuel makes it happen and returns to the present pretending that nothing happened even though he see’s Ando and his sister kissing though she hated him before.

Peter and Bennet encounter the knife guy who tries to kill Bennet but didn’t expect Peter on stopping him and so flees, over at the hospital with the guy who was slashed in the plan to get to Bennet they discover a compass like the one the Irish guy has at the beginning.

Claire’s friend Gretchen is determined to find out why her roommate Annie died and you get the feeling there is more to Gretchen than meets the eye.

Matt meanwhile is at a police recovery group and is once again encountering Syler who teases him that not using his powers will not help him and he wants his body back the scene ends with Matt looking like he is a demented fool. Interviewing a guy at the station he encounters Syler again and looks like he has lost the plot when he starts talking to an invisible person and making the guy so frightened by throwing a chair at Syler the guy confesses.

Peter hears over the ambulance radio that someone is injured in record time he gets there to find Bennet who reveals that the knife man has stolen the compass, laying in hospital Tracy visits him after he called feeling he as though he has no one else to turn to.

Hiro upon seeing Ando so happy with his sister becomes certain he must go back and undo the wrongs even though he cannot control his abilities.

Matt arrives home to find his wife once again with the handy man and feeling jealous when he interacts with his son he uses his power for the first time since the Syler/Nathan incident to tell the guy he will find a new route and not return upon closing the door Syler reveals himself knowing that he has succeeded in making Matt use his powers.

Claire also uses her powers by jumping from her apartment window to see whether her not her flatmate jumped but as she pushed her bones back in her friend Gretchen see’s the whole thing.

Samuel at the carnival once again injects ink into Tracey to reveal the faces of Claire, Syler and Peter………..to be continued!

Can't say I am a fan or managed to really get into Heroes personally!

Lol MrFlicks well a lot happened in that episode so there was a lot to write while in tonight's episode it was featured around three main characters and didn't have as much action as previous.

Chapter Two Ink

Samuel seems to have his eyes set on someone and rather oddly has just sucked through his hand a jar of ink

Peter has been served with court papers for something while he was saving someone from a bus crash, later at the hospital he hopes to talk to the man suing him but encounters not only Samuel who Peter doesn’t recognise as the man he rescued but a deaf woman who keeps seeing colours as sounds.
Peter realises he is under suspicion by the hospital staff and that maybe he’s a glory hunter he returns home to check the newspaper clipping and see’s Samuel face, visiting him and admitting his mistake Samuels unknown plan seems to be coming together though Peter

Matt is still being haunted by Syler in his head who is adamant he will get his body back though he does actually help Matt by warning him that a drug dealer with a gun is in the closet, stopping him from being shot. Syler is determined he will get Matt to use his powers despite his best attempts not to he does and ends up hitting the drug dealer thinking he has found the body of a girl. Unfortunately for Matt he imagined it all thanks to Syler using his own powers against him, realising his career is at stake he wipes his partners mind leaving Syler pleased that he is becoming more like him.

Bennet has gone to visit Claire who is still avoiding Gretchen unfortunately it isn’t long before she has to try and wiggle her way out of it which becomes impossible when her dad invites her from lunch.
Gretchen continues to make little digs not knowing that Bennet knows exactly what she is talking about he wants to call The Haitian but Claire is determined to sort it out herself in the end she admits the truth and tells her new friend she can ask her anything she wants to know.
Claire shows Gretchen how fast she can heal by letting her cut her hand her dad then rings who is quickly reassured that the situation is under control, the two friends then decide to become roommates.

The deaf girl sits in the park watching a man play a chello and again she can see colours moving around in place of sound when he walks away to get a drink she picks up the chello as she begins playing a crowd gathers around her including Peter.

Samuel goes to visit the house he grew up in but is turned away by the new owner when Peter arrives with the ambulance crew they are told the house was stood on a sink hole and is no more, while Samuel watches on the destruction he has caused Peter feels pain as he realises he has a inked image of a compass.

Chapter Three – Acceptance.

Ooh that was good seeing Tracey emerge from the bath in liquid form and now has made herself ready like a woman on a mission arhh she’s meeting the governor again.
Hiro seems pretty chuffed that his sister and Ando are getting married not that it will stop him from travelling in time in the hope of fixing things, first though he’s been called as a witness to a mans suicide oh no the guy actually jumped!

Angela seems intent on helping Nathan remember his past hmm what’s with the hat and the dead girl at the bottom of the pool, what’s he hiding there then and he obviously doesn’t want his mother to know?

I cant help but feel sorry Noah even with all the bad things he has done he did love his wife and clearly is hating the fact she is divorcing though I wish he would be a bit more helpful to Peter who has arrived asking about the tattoo, Claire has also arrived and is now wondering what’s going on.

Not sure that was a great idea by Hiro going back to stop the guy from jumping by fixing his past mistake arrhh no it definitely wasn’t as it now happening all over again and the guy has jumped again over something else he was clearly meant to die.

Nathan has now begun some investigating of his own trying to find out about the girl who was dead at a pool he apparently has no memory of being there or killing her so maybe this has something to do with Syler, turns out her mother thought Nathan had something to do with her disappearance but believes she did in fact run away.

Oh dear looks like he did know she had died having just had more flashbacks he realises she banged her head diving off the board and died and surprise surprise Angela disposed of the body and had the Haitian wipe his memory, stupid Nathan does think by telling the girls mother she died it will make anything better.

Oh honestly Hiro is even dumber he has gone back in time again to try and correct the guys mistake and yet every time he does he kills himself even more as for the guy he just keeps messing up and wanting to kill himself though this time it looks like he managed to stop him from jumping by talking to him.
Well that was odd he tells his sister he is dying gets a pain in his head and then just disappears though on the good side at least his sister now knows what he can do.

Seems Noah gave Tracy food for thought by offering the same advice Claire did to him i.e maybe you have to figure out who you use to be to figure out who you want to be and it seems to have effected her as she is asking the senator to let her help people but he hasn’t given the answer she was hoping for, ooh odd she got upset and her hands turned to liquid.

Noah may be in trouble again considering Samual has just seen his face on the tattooed girl

Nathan was just thinking about turning himself into the police but upon changing his mind and stepping out of the car he is stabbed in the neck by a unknown man who has now dumped him in a grave shot him for good measure and buried him in a shallow grave, all the while a suspicious Angela is having lunch with the dead girls mother.

Whoa Syler just emerged from the grave!!!

Chapter four – Hysterical Blindness

Great start for Syler wakes up in the ground and then is stopped by a cop be interesting to see what he does with his powers and what exactly he remembers oh apparently doesn’t even know his own name, talk about a totally different Syler .
Syler seems to be making some progress with the doctor as he has discovered he has acute hearing.

Claire is overly pleased with her new normal college life and seems to be getting on well with Gretchen who has agreed to attend a sororities meeting but weirdly the only thing Gretchen seems to talk about with other people is Claire which is somewhat worrying.
Oh dear it seems Gretchen has been investigating/stalking Claire’s life she has an entire album of stuff on her laptop, omg Gretchen just tried to kill Claire by the looks of it though she’s now saying she didn’t and she has in fact got a crush on Claire.

Peter has invited his mum round for a chat but Angela seems far to preoccupied thinking about Nathan so the chat is soon cut short when he whizzes off.

The new character Emma is a hard one to figure her deafness is the only we have really seen yet and her seeing colours I’m still wondering if she has any powers though it’s a good job Peter does as she nearly just got hit by a bus if he hadn’t of pushed her out the way, ooh Peter just saw the same colours coming from noises created no wonder he couldn’t go into super power fast speed
Cool Peter and Emma have realised that they can both see the colours and he now knows she is deaf lol he just explained there are lots of people with powers and she thinks he is crazy

Whoa Syler just sent the cop flying through glass even though he didn’t know he could do that because the cop know knows his name and the fact that he murdered his mother he’s now on the loose and begging a lift from the doctor.
Rofl the cops have just arrived again and shot him upon seeing electricity from his hand but he just pushed the bullets straight out and is now on the run and somehow has arrived at the carnival to be welcomed by Samuel who tells him its home.

Oooh Rebecca a girl with invisibility who works with Samuel is the other girl who is in the sororities group she is responsible for the girl falling out the window the book jumping off the shelf that lead to Claire seeing the laptop and she was the one who made the flag pole fall.

Whoa Emma was just sat playing the chello when she started crying the colours seemed to convey her emotion and pictures fell off her wall and a massive crack went straight up the wall.

Chapter Five Tabula Rasa

Peter has taken Hiro to the hospital and he is now conscious but it seems pretty clear that the doctors cannot really help him though Peter has an idea he can help Hiro by taking his power and going someplace though Emma just turned up looking for him asking questions and though Peter told her to talk to Hiro she ran off instead.

Syler has woken up to face Samuel who calls him Syler but he doesn’t recognise the name Samuel thinks he is broken and he has come to him so he can fix him and make his memory return., he introduces him to Lydia and upon shaking her hand he has a flash of memory where he may have been a politician.

Peter has just teleported himself into Bennets bathroom where Claire is visiting also he explains he wants to find a healer who can help Hiro it doesn’t take long for Bennet to recall a kid who can heal and they both teleport to locate him.

Ooh Syler just into a tiff with another circus guy but soon beat him hands down he then had another memory of flying so Samuel gets some other guy to can help return his memories, ooh err Syler just saw in a wall of mirrors a flashback of him killing his mother but he is horrified and screams for it to stop and states it is not him.
But the memories just keep on coming and he is forced to watch all the people he has killed.

Emma visits Hiro hoping he can tell her how to turn her power off but when she doesn’t get the answer she is looking for she leaves though its not long before they are back together when she finds him entertaining the children with magic he tells the children he will make her disappear she can’t believe her eyes when she see’s that they are all frozen and she can see beautiful colours.

Peter and Bennet have arrived at the house of the healer but are confronted by the strong stench of death upon investigating they find the boys parents who have clearly been dead for sometime next minute they know the healer Jeremy is shooting at them.
Hmm the once healer now kills everything he touches and he is clearly scared so it was definitely a bad move by Peter to suddenly appear and he has now been shot Bennet is trying to convince he can heal Peter he just has to think about it and thankfully he manages to heal Peter who is some what freaked out also.

Samuel has a little chat with Syler and tells him to accept who he is as others will always try to harm them for example the cop who is searching for him therefore Syler is putting them all in jeopardy Samuel manipulates Syler to go to the house of mirrors in search of the cop and sort the situation.
Syler enters the house of mirrors to be faced with a loaded gun from the cop he is given the option to leave but he refuses and Syler electrocutes him but turns to leav shocked by what he can do but the knife guy enters and cuts the cop to shreds.

Peter now has the ability to heal Hiro and sets off leaving Jeremy and Bennet who has called the police and is staying until he is sure that everything will be alright the police quickly arrive as Bennett is explaining he feels he let the boy down.

At the hospital Hiro gets out of bed to watch Emma play the piano as she turns to see him and others clapping her she goes to escort him back to bed and he suddenly disappears.

Samuel hugs Syler and then baptises him saying he is now officially family and will be welcome for the rest of his days but it is very clear Samuel and co have plans for Syler and will use him.

Peter arrives back at the hospital finding Hiro gone and a note that he has gone to save Charlie!

Chapter seven - Once Upon A Time In Texas

Charlie has transported himself back to see his friend Charlie whom those of you who recall worked in a café and even though he tried repeatedly to stop Syler from killing her he always failed but this time he thinks he can change it for the better but before he has even spoken to Charlie Syler has entered the café.

Back in the present Samuel is desperate to get Hiro back to the circus so he can fix the past ink girl reveals more tattoos of Syler, Noah and Charlie.

Hiro watches on as Charlie fills up Syler coffee and quizzes her about how much knowledge she has and for warns her of her death by her tumour in her brain and then Hiro is shocked to find Samuel sat next to him.

In the same time line as Hiro we watch Noah who seems to have found himself a love interests who also works in the same line as him while he thinks they are just friend she reveals its more and offers him a key to a hotel room she has but at this time he is still married.

Hiro then stops time so to stop Syler killing Charlie and wheels him while frozen into a coach near by but then realises if she doesn’t die he wont go back in time to save her and they will never fall in love so he visits his self to explain the situation and from there it gets complicated.

Aww bless Hiro is in love and having saved Charlie he wants to take her on a world trip but as she begins stating facts she ends up babbling and it is her tumour he goes back to the bus to find Syler but he is expecting him and it become a war of Sylers power and Hiro freezing time eventually Hiro wins and persuades Him to help Charlie otherwise Syler will never learn of his future and death.
All is well with Charlie and she even speaks Japanese and this has to be one of the only kind things Syler has ever done, though Claire is nearby whom in this time he still wants to kill the cheerleader.

Hiro sure is dicing with the future by telling Syler how he dies because everyone gathers against him to stop him and his killing spree though the news clearly has no effect and we see Syler reminded of his cheerleader task.

After talking to Claire about how he had hoped to become a drama teacher he waves her off before she boards the cheerleading coach and goes to meet the woman at the hotel but doesn’t go there for sex he tells her he wants her help he needs her help and he doesn’t want to ruin their relationship or his family by putting all of it in jeopardy.
Lauren his co worker later has her mind wiped by The Haiitan and leaves him a note she did it for the best.

Hiro’s happy ever after doesn’t work out as Charlie reveals she is mad that he was so selfish to put the future at risk when he knows that Syler will kill so many, Hiro may have saved his love but he sure didn’t get the girl, she does come back to say sorry later and thank him and surprisingly reveals she loves him and wants a happy ending but I get the feeling it won’t work out.
Samuel is then stood waiting to tell Hiro that he has taken Charlie to his carnival but as he unknowingly transports them back to the present where Samuel reveals the man dying was a traveller like Hiro and before he died he trapped Charlie in time so Hiro would have no choice but to stay and work for him if he wanted to be reunited with her.
Samuel tells Charlie what he must do and recalls that he made a mistake eight weeks ago we then see Mohinder lying dead on the floor!

Season 4 Episode 7 of 19 Strange Attractors

Tracey is doing her best to help Jeremy who is being held for his parents death but she recalls how she also killed someone when she discovered her power in the hope of making him feel better.
After leaving she is confronted by Samuel who once again offers the carnival as a home, exploring the place Samuel tries to persuade her that the best place for Jeremy is the carnival though she is far from convinced.

While Syler and Matt are once again face to face with Syler threatening the consequences of him once again taking over his body but it is still only Syler’s mind invading his while Syler himself is at the carnival, Matt is however not coping and is all the while frightening his wife and leaves with Matt Jr so he and Syler are unable to hurt them in anyway.
Matt realises that when he drinks alcohol he somehow hurts Syler who looses his grip over Matt he continues to drink until Syler passes out and then disappears but Matt also passes out as his wife returns to check on him

Claire and Greta are with friends in an old lock up one has already been sprayed with fake blood as they continue to explore Claire thinks she see’s someone and suddenly a meat hook and chains come flying at them.
While they may be on a treasure hunt and Claire knows this is no ordinary hunt her friends are more concerned with winning the prize and yet as they continue to move through the meat lock up Greta is then half strangled to death from out of no where right before she is stabbed and then Nicky appears and disappears.
Unfortunately Claire friends have seen her heal and are understandably freaked out

Tracey and Benett go to rescue Jeremy and promise they will take him somewhere safe but there plan goes haywire when someone else dies on the way out despite Noah’s pleas to save the man he can’t do it and is taken back into custody, though corrupt officers then chain his feet to a truck so they can drag him.
Tracey and Noah arrive to find Jeremy burnt and dead, Tracey wonders if there will ever be a day when they can live out in the open and in turn looks at the compass Samuel gave her.

Oh god Matt has awoken and it’s actually Syler now the roles have been reversed and Matt is instead trapped inside Syler’s mind leaving him free to reign over his family.

Samuel watches from afar of the policeman who killed Jeremy and with his hands causes the earth to rise and swallow the building.

Season 4 Episode 8 of 19 Shadowboxing

Claire manages to cover her tracks by saying they were all drugged ensuring that her secret is kept safe from the rest of the girls from the group though Claire and Greta now know Becky was trying to kill them.

Peter manages to use his new ability to heal a patient and heal his legs and it is apparent saving more than 3 people is taking its toll on him

Syler is still in control of Matt’s body but going through airport security Matt has one trick up his sleeve by planting a gun in his bag and Syler is then arrested and though he tries to control the minds of the security Matt is unwilling to take his mind as well as his body.

Hmm it seems Nathan is alive and was walking around the carnival before jetting off skywards and managing to not be seen by Samuel

Emma is put under pressure when she is asked to care for a patient and the doctor doesn’t realise she is deaf and yet asks her to explain to the next doctor luckily Peter is around who is also busy saving as many people as he can but each time he does seems to become weaker.

Claire has luck on her side when her father Noah turns up with The Haitian who has already wiped the girls in the faculties mind and is now assigned to her to help spot Becky if and when she turns up again.

Syler though in control is struggling with Matt who just made him trip over but Syler exacts revenge quickly by killing the guy that offered to help with their car trouble,

Peter admits helping so many people is harming him, Emma suggests he shouldn’t use it again but he is determined to continue he then learns that she went to medical school before dropping out.

Gretchen is going home as she is so scares and even The Haitian cannot seem to change her mind leaving Claire once again all alone that is until Samuel turns up stating he knows exactly who she is while playing the nice guy.

Samuel explains Becky is not is his niece but all the same stil his family and hints it is Noah she is after, meanwhile Becky is explaining to Noah how much she hates him because he killed her father and she is determined to revenge her fathers death even if it means hurting Claire.

Noah discovers Claire with Samuel and hands him one of the compasses Samuel reveals in the wrong hands it can lead to trouble for him and his family.
As Noah takes Samuel into custody Becky turns up and strangely Samuel tasers her and in the end they both escape after Noah hesitates.

Syler continues to bribe Matt using innocents as a bargain which Matt cannot refuse and is left with no choice but to explain what happened to Syler and how he lost his body and his mind became tangled into Matt’s but as Syler leaves to kill everyone involved the police turn up and Matt knowing what will happen lets him and Syler be shot by the police.

Emma discovers a girl dying and though Peter offers to heal her she is sure she can do it her self which she does, later in deep thought she plays the piano and Peter turns up, she reveals her nephew died because she didn’t hear him.

Meanwhile Matt is being resuscitated in the ambulance, Syler has gone from the carnival, Noah is searching Samuel and Peter answers the door to Nathan!
