The residents are all gathered at the hospital as they wait for news of Orson, Mona and Karl though Lynette is soon worried more about herself as she feels something is wrong with the babies.
Susan reminisces over her marriage to Karl and begins thinking what her life would have been like if she hadn’t of thrown him out rofl we then get a glimpse of Susan who has gained a lot of weight over the years she meets Mike and tells all that her husband is a serial cheat and what would be great was if Karl came home to find the two of them together.
Continuing the dream Mike tells her that if she is unhappy she should do something about it and she decides to lose weight only to find Karl is leaving her instead and watches as Mike heads home with his pregnant wife, back to reality Susan is informed that Karl didn’t make it.
Bree who was also in hospital was hysterical when she was told of Karl’s death and had to be sedated she also began to dream what her life would have been like if Karl had lived he moved in with her asked her to marry him and then had an affair with her yoga instruction quickly after they became married.
Orson died in this illusion and Bree was called as being the only friend he died from a heart attack having no friends and living in a small flat surrounded by pictures of himself and Bree, back to reality Bree is told Orson is fine but has been paralysed.
Angie and Nick are waiting for news of Mona and are told despite Mona being hit by a plane the woman is very tough and is fighting so may well pull through, Angie then begins to think about how her life would be if Mona rang the police and she went to jail.
She is not allowed to see Nick or her son Danny (Tyler) the police want to know about her ex boyfriend Logan but because she hasn’t spoken to him the blame falls on her and she is on trial for murder she is then sentenced to life without parole.
Lucky for Angie back in reality she is told that Mona didn’t make it rofl at the nurse asking her not to be angry at God because her prayers were not answered – oh YES they were!
Gaby and Carlos are beside their daughter Celia’s bedside who if it hadn’t of been for Lynette saving her may well not still be alive though Gaby believes it was God’s plan as her daughter will be a star and do great things she begins dreaming of her daughter becoming a great actress .
Celia is needed to cry to pass the audition but can’t so Gaby in the dream tells her daddy fell and landed on the hamster caged and it died she quickly cries. Carlos and Celia make a run for it when she has another audition but Gaby catches them and is determined her daughter is so special she will change the world.
Gaby is shown as an old woman watching video of her daughter living alone in the same house but its more shabby than sheik and Celia is a down trodden skivvy for her mum and is still being forced into castings and put into pig tails.
Lynette is in danger of loosing both the babies if she doesn’t have an operation to save one, she then begins to think what would it be like if the baby was disabled we see Lynette unable to cope and being driven crazy by everything the baby cannot do, the therapist and the medication her and Tom are bickering.
The baby grows into a young boy who is extremely demanding and Lynette is tired of running round after him and wants him to start doing things for himself an argument ensue over who will make a sandwich for him eventually he does it himself.
Years later that same boy has graduated in a law degree and is doing everything for himself.
Back to reality Tom tells Lynette though they have lost a baby the other one is fine later Gaby enters with flowers and thanks Lynette for saving her daughter and how sorry she is.
The show ends with Karl’s family and friends are attending his funeral and Lynette sad and alone in the hospital.
