LOST - The Finale

God after 6yrs of this show and being completely lost and yet addicted to the show even though I have missed more than one season the last two episodes of LOST have had me captured it has left me with many unanswered questions but the emotion in the last ever episodes have made me cry and have a lump in my throat.

Smoky (Locks) demise was thrilling to watch as to who would win the fight between good and evil and Jack sacrificing himself in the hope of saving the island and his friends was gripping.

Kate and Sawyers attempt to get to the plane in time and while running out of time Kate convinces Claire to leave with them and they manage to get on the plane at the last minute while Jack struggles to get the stone back in the hole.

The plane successfully takes off while Jack is left alone in the caves a broken man but the light returns and Jack cant believe he has successfully saved the island, Hurley pulls the rope up expecting to find Jack but finds Desmond instead and is left shouting out his friends name.

In a flash forward Benjamin and John talk over their past differences, John can walk and bids goodbye to Ben, later Hugo tells Ben he was a great number two and Ben replies he was a great number one.

Hugo is lost knowing that Jack has gone while he Ben and Desmond are ok he now knows its his job to look after the island and asking Ben to help him they agree to do it together.

Kate tells Jack in a flash forward that when he is ready she will be inside the building to say goodbye to his father, while on the island Jack emerges wounded but ok in the flash forward he is face to face with his dad and realises he is dead like his father as are all his friends from the island and they are now all together.

Everyone past and present are now together while Jack on the island stumbles through the jungle alone and lays on the ground bleeding until the dog bounds over to him, back in the flash forward everyone is happy to be back together and the last scenes show Jack looking up at the sky watching a plane fly over before his eyes close for the last time!

After all that I am still LOST it makes sense in some ways but many questions are left unanswered but after six years it would be hard to wrap it all up to everyone's satisfaction all in all it was a great ending and I will seriously miss this show one of the most thought provoking programs in a long time and I shall miss it dearly.!!!!
It's also great that SKY 1 have plenty of behind the scenes interviews and footage!

I was hoping someone would start a thread on what they thought about the finale, so I guess this is it!!

I must say that I really liked watching how everyone "remembered" their experience on the island and how they all came together in the end. However, in typical Lost fashion, the episode still left more questions than it answered.

What actually was the island itself? Was it real? Is Hurley still there? What happened to Faraday and how was his Mom so all knowing? Did the rest of them really fly away? What was the light? What exactly makes a "smoke monster" anyway??? lol

Ah, I'll miss that weekly dose of mysteries...

Oh I agree so many questions unanswered I was a bit disappointed but the producers said that not everyone would be satisfied so I am one of those, I cant believe it has ended it was a great show it had some brilliant actors, its obvious that the smoke monster came about from Jacob killing his brother and letting him drift into the light but I'm still confused, I liked most of the last few episodes but it still didn't clear up all the questions but then I wonder if it could ever answer such things because it is pure fantasy?

To be honest it was wrapped up too quickly and not enough things were answered I think so much more scope was available to wrap things up I want repeats from the beginning to the end to start so I can scrutinise things from start to end and hopefully understand things more!

As i said in other post they wraped it up in a hurry. Didnt know the reason behind that but this show deserved the proper ending

Lost is fabulous live-action American series based on suspense of lives of plane crash survivors on a mysterious tropical island. Each episode was typically featured. But i don't like the finale episode of finale season 6, which has revealed the mystery of Tropical Iceland with so annoying way. i never want the end of this brilliant show with scientific matter. I always want the revealed of mystery behind the Ice Land with supernatural ways. As it has create great supernatural suspense from starting to second last episode. I was so excited to watch lost end to know the actually mystery. but now when i've enjoyed it, my interest of watch lost over again totally lost. I still not go to watch lost over again although it has been longer time gonna with the end of lost episodes. But i will not leave to watch this brilliant drama for it's worst finale episode. I admit myself to go watch it over again.

I love to Watch Lost Online. This show had many twist in it. It always make me excited to see its next episode to know what will be happen.

I remember when i start watch this show, i was 14. I have not missed its any episode. The whole series is fantastic but the Finale of Lost Season 6 was wonderful. I liked it very much.
